Two attributes: PavedWidthLane, PavedWidthSWID
PavedWidthLane: (Use this attribute for data extracts and analysis). This is the total width of all lanes ( including through lanes, turn lanes, creeper lanes, passing lanes, parking lanes and accel/decel/merge lanes widths ). For dvided Highway, width of lanes on the directional highway is assigned to each direction (inventory route:NB,EB and non-inventory route: SB,WB). For undivided highway, the total of both directions is assigned to the inventory route.
PavedWidthSWID: (This attribute is kept for reference only). This is a data that is directly migrated from CANSYS as opposed to the PavedWidthLane where lane widths from CANSYS were added to get the total paved width. The data item name in CANSYS was SWID which is also representation of width as defined above in PavedWidthLane. There are some differences in values when compared between the two attributes, So, PavedWidthSWID attribute is kept for data validations and reference.

Coded driving lanes only, except in the case of curb and gutter shoulders. For curb and gutter shoulders added 5 feet to surface width (2.5 feet per side).
